Back in 2022, Apple TV+'s darkly comic thriller Severance put a surreal spin on the idea of maintaining a work-life balance by exploring the challenges faced by employees who had chosen to have their office and home lives surgically 'severed' from each other.

Now, the series is back for a second run, directed again by Ben Stiller, as the increasingly unsettled workers at Lumon step up their mission to uncover the truth about their employers and the consequences of the procedure they have undergone.
