Mild-mannered deputy bank manager Nate (Jack Quaid) lives a careful life because he's unable to feel pain. Everything poses a danger and even eating solids is out, in case he chews off his tongue. But things change when colleague Sherry (Amber Midthunder) brings him out of his shell. Then she's kidnapped and he sets off to rescue her from Ray Nicholson's bad guy, taking some eye-wateringly hard and hilarious knocks along the way. Quaid's a charmer in a pacy film that makes the most of its fun premise.
