Tarot cards, psychic visions and ritual magic are just some of the other-worldly happenings as the latest Midsomer Murders episode, The Witches of Angel's Rise, arrives on our screens.

On the eve of a psychic fayre, the body of a young woman, Tilly Mulroney, is discovered on the ground by an ancient tower. She has been stabbed with a crystal wand and her body is surrounded by symbolic artefacts and a tarot card - the Devil card.
