The latest twisty tale from author Liane Moriarty comes to our screens

Nicole Kidman's collaborations with acclaimed author and fellow Australian Liane Moriarty have proved a match made in heaven. Big Little Lies won a raft of Emmys and Golden Globes, while Nine Perfect Strangers returns for its second season from Thursday 22 May. So expectations are high for the pair's latest project, The Last Anniversary.

This time, however, Kidman is only involved behind the scenes, as executive producer of the gripping six-parter, which was made by her own production company.

Opening with a double bill, the story follows Sophie Honeywell (Teresa Palmer), a journalist who is stuck at a crossroads in her life until a sudden twist of fate takes her in a whole new direction...

'Sophie's unlucky in love, desperately unhappy and is wanting to have a baby. She's riddled with insecurities - then she gets this big surprise,' reveals Palmer, 39, whose credits include A Discovery of Witches and The Clearing.
