Eddie Murphy rolls back the years in The Pickup, Prime Video's adrenaline-fuelled action comedy about a couple of everyday guys who find themselves at the centre of a daring heist.

The Beverly Hills Cop star plays Russell, an armoured-truck driver who just wants to get home to his wife Natalie (Eva Longoria) for their 25th wedding anniversary when his vehicle is targeted by a ruthless criminal gang.

But while Russell is determined to do whatever it takes to survive the day, the erratic behaviour of his young partner, Travis (Pete Davidson), means they're quickly dragged into a criminal conspiracy.
