Tiffany Haddish has come a long way since she lived out of her car in Los Angeles and crashed weddings for the free food and drinks. With a busy movie and TV career since her breakout role in 2017’s Girls Trip, the actress and comedian, 43, is returning for a second season of The Afterparty (July 12 on Apple TV+) as a former detective investigating the murder of a groom. And in Disney’s spooky comedy Haunted Mansion (July 28 in theaters), Haddish plays a medium, a quirky role she identifies with. “I believe we all have an ability to tap into our higher power,” she says. “I feel like I predict things all the time.” She let loose about topics from haunted dreams to dating deal-breakers.
