Prince Harry's Sentebale Charity in Crisis

Prince Harry and his longtime friend Prince Seeiso of Lesotho announced their “devastating” decision to resign as patrons of Sentebale on March 26.

The Duke of Sussex cofounded the charity in 2006 in memory of his mother, Princess Diana, to support young people affected by the HIV/AIDS crisis in Lesotho and across southern Africa. “What's transpired is unthinkable. We are in shock that we have to do this, but we have a continued responsibility to Sentebale’s beneficiaries, so we will be sharing all of our concerns with the Charity Commission as to how this came about,” they said in a joint statement.
