That question lies at the heart of Dreamzone Fashion Week - a one-of-a-kind student-led runway that redefines where fashion greatness can come from. Here, Dreamzone's budding designers turn imagination into artistry, sending original creations gliding down the ramp on professional models - bringing original ideas, fearless imagination, and local heritage to life in an annual celebration of homegrown creativity.
FROM THE CLASSROOM TO THE CATWALK
Dreamzone, a creative design brand born in 2006 as part of the CADD Centre Group, turns 20 this year with a bold mission: to make India the Design and Innovation Capital of the World!
Back when most careers still revolved around engineering or medicine, Chairman R. Parthasarathy and his team wanted to open a new door - one leading to creative independence."In the early 2000s, young people didn't have many creative design-focused paths," R. Parthasarathy recalls. "We built Dreamzone to democratize creative design education, so that anyone - from homemakers to techies - could turn artistry into a profession."
Nearly one million learners across India have since studied fashion, interiors, or animation under the Dreamzone banner. Many are women who transformed passion into purpose -becoming entrepreneurs, local influencers, and employers in their own right. "98% of our learners and centre heads are women," notes Rithwick Parthasarathy, Chief Future Officer. "Fashion became their language of empowerment, and their success stories are our proudest moments."
