The electric wires in Grandpa's room caught fire suddenly one morning and got stuck together.

The bulb there had been pulled into position from another room by its wire. The wires had short-circuited and then got damaged.

When the sparks started flying out of the wires, Grandpa and Yash were sitting in the room. Yash was scared by the sparks and hugged Grandpa in fear.

Grandpa said, "Hey, don't be scared! Things like this happen sometimes. But be careful, don't touch the wires. I'll call the electrician at once, and he'll replace them with new ones."

"All right, Grandpa! I won't touch the wires. But what'd happen if I did?" Yash asked.

"If you touch electric wires, you can get an electric shock. Getting electrocuted can also cause death," said Grandpa.
