DAYS: STEFAN WAKES UP

Kristen pressures Rolf to alter Stefan’s memory before reviving him, insisting the diabolical doctor erase Stefan’s feelings for Gabi and enhance his feelings for Chloe.

An eager Rolf gets to work, but perhaps too hastily. As he uses his instruments to work on Stefan’s memory, Rolf accidentally revives him.

“It honestly felt like a Hulk moment,” says Brandon Barash (Stefan), referring to Stefan’s eyes popping open and suddenly regaining consciousness. “So I kind of ran with that when we taped it and went real big. I don’t know if anybody was expecting it, but it seemed to work. You have to use your imagination and think, ‘Okay, if I was essentially dead for four years and then woke up in Dr. Frankenstein’s lab, what would the reaction be?’ And it would be more of a survival reaction than a cerebral reaction.”
