Katie Price's new husband left her red-faced after failing to show up for a TV show, now her family fears she will turn to surgery to mask the pain

Katie Price has been left fearing for the future of her marriage after fresh drama surrounding husband Lee Andrews played out on national TV. Businessman Lee, 43, was due to appear with Katie, 47, in a joint Good Morning Britain interview to talk about their whirlwind romance last week, but she was mortified when he failed to turn up.

“It's becoming a huge embarrassment and Katie feels like she’s become a laughing stock as she tries to stick up for him. This marriage is causing her so much heartache, and it's really affecting her emotionally.”

Lee has repeatedly vowed to return to the UK from Dubai in recent months, even sharing videos from the airport. There is ongoing speculation that he is unable to leave the United Arab Emirates city after allegedly forging his ex-girlfriend’s signature to secure a loan – which he has strongly denied.

In a social media post, Katie called it “gutting”, and asked, “Where the hell is my husband? Lee will not be on Good Morning Britain with me!!”

As his absence from the ITV1 show became clear last Tuesday, host Susanna Reid told viewers, “We invited them both into the studio this morning and initially we thought that would happen. But Lee didn’t make his flight from Dubai. We are going to find out why when Katie joins us alone.”
