T HE first ever courtordered surgical castration of a sex offender in the U.S.

has been set for a sicko serial pedophile who raped a 7-year-old girl.

Court records show that Thomas Allen McCartney, 37, agreed to have his testicles terminated in a plea deal with a Louisiana judge in return for lopping time off his prison sentence which will still reportedly come to 40 years.

The Louisiana law allowing surgical castration as punishment for certain aggravated sex offenses against children is the first of its kind in the nation, and only made it onto the books Aug. 1. The state had already allowed chemical castration in certain severe cases.
