CONCERNED Princess Kate is losing her battle to keep her firstborn son from getting shipped off to a snooty boarding school, and thoughts of being separated from young Prince George — and her impending empty nest may be too much for the fragile cancer survivor to endure, courtiers confide.

A royal expert tells The National ENQUIRER that future monarch Prince William, 43, wants his 12-year-old heir to be educated at his alma mater Eton College - and sources expect that Kate's hardheaded hubby will get his way in September 2026.

The insider observes: "I think Kate is really sad because she doesn't want him to go away. She's very nervous, and she wants to spend more time with him."
