CONNIVING Chinese spymasters are secretly trying to recruit thousands of recently fired federal workers in an insidious cold war scheme to steal America's military and technology secrets, sources exclusively tell The National ENQUIRER.

A dire warning from the National Counter-intelligence and Security Center (NCSC) has been issued after the U.S. government fired about 56,000 employees and gave meager buyouts to 75,000 others, all of whom could be easy marks for Chinese spies posing as corporate job recruiters.

Former Army Maj. Gen. Paul Vallely warns that the unemployed workers from a variety of government agencies across the country are potentially valuable assets because they may be able to provide access to top secret computer data.
