The Emmy nominations reignite tensions between Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon

Reese Witherspoon was having a good week. The day after the premiere of Where the Crawdads the new moving ie she has passionately shepherded to the screen after reading the bestselling book on which it's based - she woke up to the news that she had nabbed her second Lead Actress Emmy nomination, this time for her work on The Morning Show. "I'm so honored to be acknowledged," she gushed on Twitter on July 12. "Love this show and this team so much!" But not everyone was in a celebratory mood. Reese's co-star Jennifer Aniston was shut out of the same category and did not publicly acknowledge Reese's nod in the days following the announcement. "For all their displays of love and support online, Jen was silent about Reese's big achievement. How could Reese not see it as a snub?" says a source.
