Less than a week after making the rounds in Venice, Julianne Moore was overjoyed – and, admittedly, a little relieved – to head back to the Toronto International Film Festival.

YOUR VIP INVITATION TO THIS YEAR'S STAR-STUDDED TORONTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

“This festival, it’s always so great,” she told Hello! Canada at the première of her dramedy The Room Next Door, adding that she was especially happy to be enjoying some cooler weather. “I was just in Venice, where it was like 90 degrees, but here it’s so cold!” she said with a laugh. “So I love Toronto, especially in the fall.”

Radiant in a floral-adorned Bottega Veneta dress, Julianne was joined on the red carpet by co-star Tilda Swinton, 63, who was delighted to discuss the importance of female friendship – a key theme of their film. “Those of us who are lucky enough to know the power of long friendship, it’s the best – it will see you through pretty much anything on the planet,” she told Hello! before gushing over working with Julianne, also 63. “It’s beyond a dream. I now have a new friend, and she does, too.”

imageExcitement certainly filled the air as many of Hollywood’s finest (think Cate Blanchett, Demi Moore and Ben Stiller) descended on Toronto to make the 49th annual festival an event to remember. Naturally, there was no shortage of glamorous moments thanks to stars like Ana de Armas, who wowed in a sheer sparkling number by Louis Vuitton at the première of her survival thriller Eden
