ON THE ROAD TO RECOVERY THE PRINCESS OF WALES IS BACK WITH HER FAMILY AS PRINCE WILLIAM TAKES TIME OFF WORK

According to a new statement released by Kensington Palace, the 42-year-old mom of three – who will likely be out of action until after Easter – was discharged from the London Clinic on Jan. 29 ( just a few hours before her father-in-law, King Charles, checked out of the same hospital following treatment for an enlarged prostate).

“The Princess of Wales has returned home to Windsor to continue her recovery from surgery,” read the statement. “She is making good progress. The Prince and Princess wish to say a huge thank you to the entire team at The London Clinic, especially the dedicated nursing staff, for the care they have provided.”

KEEPING IN TOUCH

During her almost two-week stay at the hospital, it’s thought Kate kept in touch with Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, via video chat while husband Prince William, 41 – who reportedly visited her every day – held down the fort at Adelaide Cottage, their family home on the Windsor estate.

“Kate loves to FaceTime the children when she is working away overseas, so I’m sure they will be in regular contact while she’s in hospital, and the kids will be keen to see her,” Hello! royal editor Emily Nash said after the princess’s admission to the clinic. “She loves having her family around her and will be looking forward to getting home and having cuddles with the kids.
