Princess Kate shares her most candid insights yet into her cancer journey

For the Princess of Wales, life is all about finding balance as she seeks ways to prioritize her health and maintain her public duties. Two weeks after cancelling a scheduled appearance at Royal Ascot, Kate spoke about putting on a "brave face" and finding her "new normal" as she gave an extraordinary insight into her cancer journey.

Her candid admission came as she made an unannounced visit to Colchester Hospital to see the new Royal Horticultural Society Wellbeing Garden.

Chatting with patients, volunteers and staff, Kate, 43, spoke openly about how the cancer experience can be "life-changing" for those battling the disease, as well as for their loved ones.

The royal mom of three underwent six months of preventive chemotherapy in 2024 a year that her husband, the Prince of Wales, described as "brutal" for his family.
