This summer is already proving to be a hit for Molly Rainford. With her life very much on track, she is bubbling with excitement about the release of her debut single

So busy is this talented 22-year-old that it’s taken some time to arrange our exclusive photoshoot and interview, as she juggles her singing and acting career with her life with new boyfriend Tyler West.

And it’s hard not to get caught up in her giddy enthusiasm for life as hello! chats to her in a London studio about why music has always been her passion, how taking part in last year’s Strictly Come Dancing changed her life, and her new role in EastEnders.

MUSICAL GIFT 

Essex-born Molly is about to release her debut single with producer Alex Kirsch, a “dancey, house, pop” song called My Heart’s a Broken Record.

And despite all her successes dream come true. "I'm super excited about my first single," she tells us. "I've been so lucky with all the TV and acting work, but music has always been my passion and I want it to be a thread that runs through everything I do."

The song has already been tipped as a perfect hit for summer - a time of year that Molly particularly enjoys.

"When the sun's out, especially in London, it's the best place to be. All I want to do when it's sunny is play music," she says.

"This song felt like the right style and I think it shows my personality well, as it's upbeat."
