Famous faces from the worlds of music, film - and even royalty – were beaming with pride at ceremonies across the globe

Infanta Sofía of Spain was joined by her parents King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia as she graduated from her prestigious Welsh secondary school last week.

The royal pupil, 18, finished her studies at UWC Atlantic College - the same school attended by her elder sister Leonor, 19 - and was feted at the closing ceremony by her parents, who flew in to the Vale of Glamorgan from Spain for the occasion.

The family posted a string of happy images on social media, including one where Sofía, in a red one-shoulder jumpsuit, held her international baccalaureate diploma.
