AFTER CELEBRATING THE REOPENING OF NOTRE-DAME STEPPING ON TO THE WORLD STAGE THE PRINCE OF WALES WINS PRAISE FROM PRESIDENT-ELECT DONALD TRUMP IN PARIS

Proving his mettle as a global figure, the Prince of Wales met US President-elect Donald Trump on a visit to Paris last week.

The two men spent around 40 minutes in "warm, friendly" conversation after joining celebrations to mark the reopening of the historic Notre-Dame cathedral, five years after the landmark was ravaged by fire.

"I had a great talk with the Prince," Donald said afterwards, revealing that they had discussed the health of William's father the King and his wife the Princess of Wales, both of whom have undergone treatment for cancer this year.

"I asked him about his wife and he said she's doing well," he continued.

"I asked him about his father and his father is fighting very hard, and he loves his father and he loves his wife, so it was sad. We had a great talk...we had a great, great talk." Complimenting William, the US politician said: "He's a good-looking guy. He looked really very handsome.
