Accused of murdering mutt with fatal injection

MARYLAND monster Ryan Kenneth Ball — a licensed hospital pharmacist — fatally injected his pet pooch with powerful anesthetics because he hated the 6-year-old Plott hound and wanted the pup permanently out of his life, authorities bark.

Ball, 38, is feeling the bite of the law after recently pleading guilty to aggravated animal cruelty and obtaining a prescription by fraud, according to the Hartford County State’s Attorney’s office.

Bell was slapped with a five-year sentence, but most of the term was suspended. However, the dirty dog will still serve 12 months behind bars at the county detention center, officials say.
