The Victoria’s Secret icon says she has a reasonable excuse for compiling crap — that she’s a reincarnated man who’s simply gathering up his old stuff!

“I love flea markets and I’m always looking for things that belonged to me in the past. They talk to me. I’ll look at something like [an] antique clock and feel that used to be mine and I want it,” says the 52-year-old, noting she believes she’s “always been men” in former lives. “This is my first time as a woman.”

The German beauty estimates that she owns 2,000 pairs of shoes. “It’s embarrassing,” admits the size-11 star. “I’m a hoarder, and I just hoard and hoard and hoard.”

Footwear isn’t the Project Runway judge’s only weakness. After more than 30 years in fashion, Heidi has also racked up an overwhelming amount of designer duds and handbags. “Our house has become like a museum over the years,” she says.

But it’s not just the quantity of items that’s become an issue. “I’m super messy at home,” spills Heidi. “That’s a slight problem.”
