SITCOM icon Ted Danson is known as one of Hollywood’s most upbeat characters, but a source says the former Cheers legend has plunged into a deep funk recently and loved ones along with devoted actress-wife Mary Steenburgen fear he’s spiraling into a deep depression!
The 78-year-old, who soared to stardom as playboy bar owner Sam Malone on Cheers from 1982 to 1993 and in movies like Three Men and a Baby and Body Heat, is still busy with commercials and Netflix’s sitcom A Man on the Inside.
But despite his ongoing success and popularity, a source says he’s been clobbered with dark thoughts as he ages.
