Kesav Binoy Kiron, who played an opportunistic boyfriend in Girls Will Be Girls, endeared the audience with his realistic acting. He held his own amongst an all-women cast and though his role had plenty of grey shades, he didn't have any qualms about that. From childhood dreams of becoming a sportsman to pursuing a career in theatre and film, his path has been shaped by passion, chance and a little bit of luck. Here's a look at his unique journey.

Dreams of Being a Sportsman

Growing up, Kesav aspired to be a sportsman but soon realised he wasn't quite cut out for it. His next fantasy was to join the Army, inspired by the iconic Bollywood film Main Hoon Na. However, he soon recognised that acting could allow him to play multiple roles and live out his dreams.

Power of Acting

Kesav's interest in acting grew after he participated in school theatre, particularly enjoying the power to make people laugh and move them with stories. His journey into theatre began in school, where he auditioned for a play in the 6th standard. He'd found his calling.

Early Artistic Influences

Born in Kerala and raised across Mumbai and Malaysia, Kesav's artistic streak began with Dance before evolving into a passion for acting. Although no one in his family had an acting background, he hesitated to tell his parents about his dream of acting for a long time.
