Huawei enables Telecom Egypt set up green tower in Africa

Huawei Technologies has announced the activation of the first eco-friendly wireless network tower made of Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) for Telecom Egypt.
-
With this, Telecom Egypt has become the first operator in Africa to install a green tower, the company stated in a press release. The material used for building the tower emits less CO2 than steel.
