The Gateway Show's Big Year

In 2025, the St. Louis Pen Show had one of its most successful events to date.

The St. Louis (Missouri) Pen Show takes place at the crossroads of the United States: the Mississippi River, the demarcation line between the American West and East, symbolically united by the 630-foot tall Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri. In its way, the St. Louis Pen Show is a crossroads show: a balance of sales and education, young and old, and of course, East and West.

“We like to emphasize our location right in the middle of the country,” says Anne Morgan, one of the many talented volunteer organizers who makes the St. Louis Pen Show run so smoothly. “We draw many vendors and buyers who won't travel coast to coast but find our halfway point a great meeting place.”
