Raimondi moves to acquire Terex lifting businesses
Gulf Construction
|October 2025
TALY’S Raimondi Cranes has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire key lifting divisions from US-based Terex Corporation in what is described as the most significant deal in the company’s history.
-
The transaction will see Raimondi — which operates under Arada Industries, owned by UAE-based real estate and diversified business entity Arada Group — take over Terex Tower Cranes, Terex Self-Erecting Cranes, and Terex Rough Terrain Cranes, along with Terex's support and service hub in Wilmington, North Carolina. Production facilities in Fontanafredda and Crespellano, Italy, are also included in the agreement.
With the deal, Raimondi is expanding beyond its established strength in luffing jib and tower cranes into self-erecting and rough-terrain models, while securing access to Terex’s extensive global distribution network. Around 250 employees will join Raimondi Group as part of the integration, bringing its total workforce to about 400.
The move also fuels Raimondi’s growth strategy and facilitates access to an extensive global distribution network, enhancing shareholder confidence and elevating the customer experience.
