Held on 16 October 2024 at the beautiful Grande Roche estate in Paarl, Western Cape, the awards ceremony brought together South Africa's premium producers, showcasing the extraordinary craftsmanship behind the country's highest-ranking extra virgin olive oils (EVOOs).
Each of the following farms has earned acclaim for producing world-class olive oils.
DE RUSTICA ESTATE
Nestled in the Oudemuragie Valley near the Swartberg, De Rustica is home to 77 000 olive trees, producing premium EVOO from an ideal terroir.
KLEINBERGSKLOOF OLIVE ESTATE
In the heart of the Garden Route, Kleinbergskloof's distinctive terroir, with its lime-rich soils and proximity to the ocean, gives the EVOO a unique, refined flavour.
