|17 May 2024
Since its founding more than 50 years ago, Nampo Harvest Day has led the way in showcasing agricultural innovation in South Africa on a single, comprehensive platform.
The agriculture industry in South Africa is poised for a revolutionary shift as the world enters the digital age. This year, the 56th Nampo Harvest Day, held from 14 to 17 May, is set to showcase the newest trends and developments on offer. The theme, ‘Agriculture in a digital age,’ is aimed at motivating producers to realise how important connectivity is to farming operations’ efficiency, sustainability and prosperity. By using digital tools and platforms to their full potential, farmers can improve livelihoods, increase production, and make the best use of their resources.
WHY SHOULD YOU VISIT NAMPO?
Nampo is one of the largest agricultural exhibitions in the Southern Hemisphere, based on practices that are aimed at enabling producers and other role players in the industry to experience the latest technology and products on offer within the agricultural market. Not only can producers interact with the products/ services first-hand, but they also have direct access to a multitude of specialists and can obtain knowledge from experts in the various industries by visiting their stalls and have conversations.
Nampo’s unique trademark is that it offers producers the opportunity to connect with multiple agricultural industries on one terrain, unlike other exhibitions or agricultural seminars that only address a specific area of agriculture. With more than 750 exhibitors present, diverse in trade, producers can compare a wide range of products and services to make informed decisions regarding their approach to farming in the future.
