Hindalco's acquisition of Aleris Corporation in April 2020, through its subsidiary Novelis Inc., cemented the company's position as the world's largest flat-rolled products player and recycler of aluminium. Because of its consistently strong financial performance, once again Hindalco Industries figures among the top 15 companies in the annual list of BW Real 500 companies. It has maintained its 11th position this year as well.
