BACKGROUND Shangri-La Singapore first opened its doors in 1971 with the iconic Tower Wing.

Seven years later, the Garden Wing was launched, adding 161 rooms to the hotel's inventory. In 1985, the Valley Wing officially opened, introducing a new level of prestigious hotel accommodation in Singapore for executive leaders, and discerning luxury travellers. It housed. 140 rooms, bringing the total number in the hotel to 792. Also located within the grounds are 127 serviced apartments and 55 serviced residences.

WHAT'S IT LIKE Shangri-La Singapore is an urban oasis set within 15 acres of landscaped gardens providing tranquillity to discerning business and leisure travellers and enveloping its guests with its warm and friendly Asian-style hospitality. Interspersed between the hotel's three distinctive wings are lush, manicured gardens that house more than 110 varieties of plants, flowers, and trees. Part of these form the feature wall to the main hotel lobby in the Tower Wing.
