IMC has grown from telecom roots to Asia's largest digital tech show. What were the key turning points?

The evolution of India Mobile Congress is a story of ambition, collaboration, and growth. When IMC began in 2017, it hosted merely 152 speakers, 100 exhibitors, approximately 2,000 international delegates and attracted around 32,000 visitors. Over these nine years, the event has witnessed phenomenal growth not just in numbers but in scope and influence. Key turning points include broadening horizons beyond telecom infrastructure to integrate fast-evolving technologies like 5G, 6G, AI, satellite communications and cybersecurity. In fact, our Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi launched the 5G services in 2022 at the IMC inauguration itself.
