Dr Ria Khurana founded RNT Health Insights, a Chandigarh-based healthtech startup specialising in Al-assisted diagnostic solutions for the accurate detection of pathologies during endoscopic procedures, in 2022 along with Dr Tanmaya Gulati.

In a short span of time, Dr Ria's startup venture has carved a niche for itself by winning two global approvals. In June 2024, RNT Health Insights received US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Breakthrough Device Designation for Early Gastric Cancer detection tool. The innovative solution is designed to detect lesions present in the upper gastrointestinal (GI) tract indicative of Early Gastric Cancer.
Following this achievement, the startup received its second US FDA Breakthrough Device Designation for its Oesophageal Cancer detection tool, in January 2025. This tool aids gastroenterologists in the realtime detection and identification of earlystage and advanced esophageal cancers during standard white-light upper Gl endoscopy procedures.
