HOW REGIONAL INDUSTRY CONCLAVES ARE TRANSFORMING MADHYA PRADESH'S ECONOMIC LANDSCAPE
BW Businessworld
|January 25, 2025
Collectively, the Regional Industry Conclaves have attracted over ₹2.22 lakh crore in investment proposals and the potential to create more than 2.73 lakh jobs
In its pursuit of becoming one of India’s leading industrial and investment hubs, Madhya Pradesh has been meticulously laying the groundwork through a series of Regional Industry Conclaves (RICs).
These events are strategic precursors to the state’s flagship event, the Invest Madhya Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2025, scheduled for February 24-25 in Bhopal.
The RICs serve as a dynamic platform, enabling meaningful interactions between industry stakeholders, policymakers and investors. With each conclave tailored to the strengths of its respective region, Madhya Pradesh is showcasing its untapped potential, attracting billions in investments, and creating thousands of jobs.
The Purpose of Regional Industry Conclaves The Madhya Pradesh government’s vision is clear: to achieve inclusive, equitable industrial development across the state. By organizing conclaves in cities such as Ujjain, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Shahdol and Sagar, the state is not only promoting regional economic growth but also addressing disparities in industrial development. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, an ardent advocate for balanced industrialization, has described these conclaves as “pillars of our investment strategy that will shape Madhya Pradesh’s economic future.” The success of these events reflects the government’s commitment to making the state a sought-after destination for global and domestic investors alike.
