Powerboat world champion Guido Cappellini set a new world record during this year's Pavia-Venizia river race.

The Team Abu Dhabi driver and 10-times Formula 1 champion completed the 260-mile course in a staggering 1 hour, 41 minutes and 45 seconds. That translates to an average speed of 128.5mph (112 knots) - insanely fast for any boat on any course, let alone one riddled with twists, turns, sandbanks and bridges along the route.
