Isn't it nice when technical innovation and classical craftsmanship combine? We've seen it in the past from some spectacular powerboats and, thanks to its fusion of vintage surfboard style and electric drivetrain technology, that's exactly what the new Lind Canvas achieves.

Designed to enable you to surf without waves, this new electric surfboard includes everything you need to get going, including the battery and jet drive, as well as the wireless remote, charger and fins. However, unlike most comparable units, the board, battery and jet are fully modular standalone pieces that you can assemble without tools at the waterside. That means you can pop the battery (17kg) and jet drive (10kg) in a custom-designed backpack and carry the 7kg board under one arm, just as you would with a traditional surfboard.
