GARMIN CAMPER 1095
Practical Motorhome
|April 2025
This superb sat-nav is ideal for motorhomers, says Sarah Wakely
-

Motorhome sat-navs have come a long way. They used to just offer basic guidance for larger vehicles, but they’re now more comprehensive, with the best models letting you locate campsites and great places nearby, see live traffic updates and more.
And that’s where Garmin comes in – a well-respected name in the sat-nav market, its Camper is held in high regard. It regularly appears in our round-ups of the best motorhome sat-navs.
We were keen to get to grips with the latest version of the Camper 1095, which is specifically designed for motorhomes and caravans.
This is the biggest model in the Camper range, with a 10in screen (8in and 7in units are also available).
Straight out of the box, it’s clear how big the 1095 feels. It’s solid and at more than half a kilogram, reassuringly sturdy. I found affixing it to the windscreen easy, thanks to its suction and magnetic mount system.
