Have we visited? No.

Campsite A new site for up to 40 people. It's on an 830 ha farm that borders eSwatini, where you can also hike in the mountains. Only one booking at a time, with a fair minimum fee. The campsite is level, on a grassy terrace next to the Assegai River – no electricity or cell signal.

imageAblutions Separate bathrooms for men and women with showers. Gas geysers provide hot water. A spacious open kitchen includes a scullery, braai area, fridge-freezer, plus tables and chairs.

Arrival and departure 14:00 and 10:00.

Pet terms All pets welcome – arrange beforehand.

Have we visited? No.

Campsite 50-plus sites: 20 for general campers and the rest for long-term visitors. The sites are grassed, with shade and power points. There are two swimming pools, and catch-and-release applies for anglers catching kurper in the dam.

Ablutions Seven family bathrooms for the in two buildings. Scullery included and coin-operated washing machine.

Arrival and departure 10:00 and 15:00.
