What's the allure of the Zambezi Region for a self-driver?

To diversify a Namibian experience which would likely entail desert, dunes and desolate destinations, the Caprivi adds a greener, bushveld experience that includes rivers, tree islands and a delta-like experience. Driving distances between destinations is not too long, allowing maximum time for excursions to national parks or relaxation in camp. The rivers are a source of life for epic wildlife and birdlife viewing, as well as to enjoy activities from the water - a sunset boat cruise or fishing excursion is tops.
