Suzuki GB has just made life a bit sweeter for anyone eyeing up a new bike, announcing a realignment of on-the-road prices across its range with some models getting a chunky £1000 chopped straight off the tag.

Top of the list is the off-road-ready V-Strom 800DE, now coming in at £9999 OTR, down a grand. With its 21in front wheel, switchable ABS, off-road traction settings, power modes and quickshifter, it's an adventure tool that's now even better value. Its more road-biased sibling, the V-Strom 800RE, also takes a price hit - now £9499, saving £200.
