Aprilia doesn't do subtle. When it came time to mark 10 years since the RS-GP first hit the MotoGP grid, it didn't just slap a sticker on the RSV4 and call it a day.

Instead, it built the RSV4 X-GP - a 238bhp, carbon-dripping, wing-clad monster that looks like it's escaped from Aleix Espargaro's pit box. Only 30 will ever exist, each costing €90,000 plus VAT.

The X-GP was unveiled at the Catalan GP, a fitting stage for a bike that's essentially a MotoGP highlight reel in production-based form. It's the latest in Aprilia's ultra-exclusive 'X' series, where the Roman numeral for 10 doesn't just mark an anniversary - it represents a level of engineering excess that goes way beyond the showroom floor.
