As a feature for one model year only, the 1965 Buick Riviera's clamshell headlights are a rarity. So are the parts needed to keep them working.
FOR SOME TIME, finding a 1965 Buick Riviera with functioning headlights was a marvel akin to finding a pearl in a clam. Whereas Buick equipped '63 and '64 Rivieras with exposed headlights, it eschewed the grille-mounted horizontally arranged sealed beams for the first-gen Riv's final model year.
