JSW MG Motor India Set to Rock the Stage

Two giants join hands to create a new range of made-in-India and for India range of new energy vehicles encompassing hybrid, plug-in hybrid, electric, and fuel cell power-train technology

SAIC MOTOR AND THE JSW GROUP HAVE FORMED A NEW joint venture (JV), JSW MG Motor India Pvt Ltd (JSW MG Motor India), and have announced their business roadmap. The new JV will focus on the evolving Indian automotive sector. At the event, the new Cyberster sports car was also unveiled in India for the first time.

JSW MG Motor India announced their aim to bring in advanced technologies and mobility solutions while also maximizing localization by developing a strong supply chain. They aim to build an electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem and introduce a new product every three to six months, with two new products slated to be launched during this calendar year. The focus will be on new energy vehicles (NEV), that is, hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and hydrogen.
