While most of this year's Spanish GP was business as usual, we did get to witness a colossal amount of chaos and racing action during the initial and concluding stages of the race

OSCAR PIASTRI (McLaren) took the top qualifying spot in Barcelona, with his teammate, Lando Norris, taking P2. Max Verstappen (Red Bull) and George Russell (Mercedes) occupied the second row. Incidentally, Max and George set the exact same time during Q3 in qualifying, down to the thousandth of a second (1:11:848), but since Max set his time first, he would be the one to hold on to the P3 for the race. Piastri’s pole position also cemented itself as the largest pole-position margin of the 2025 Formula 1 season thus far, putting him 0.209 seconds ahead of Lando Norris.
