Brother Alex Breaks Marc's Winning Streak

Marc Márquez's winning streak was broken by none other than his younger brother, Alex, at Catalonia, and it did not require a shock crash to break it

CONSIDERING THE dominant form shown by the six-time premier class champion, Marc Márquez (Ducati Lenovo Team), one would expect the same, heading into the 2025 MotoGP Grand Prix of Catalonia. On the contrary, it was far from it as younger brother Alex pulled off a record-breaking lap to secure pole position. Joining him on the front row was the 2021 champion, Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP), with Marc rounding off the top three positions. Two-time champion Francesco Bagnaia's (Ducati Lenovo Team) struggle continued as he qualified all the way down in 21st position.
