With all the pomp and circumstance of her glorious Windsor wedding to Prince Harry, the Duchess of Sussex’s former men in her life have often been brushed under the carpet.

Indeed, despite the song and dance made about the Queen’s uncle Edward marrying an American divorcee, Wallis Simpson, and the monarch rejecting her sister Princess Margaret’s plea to marry divorced Peter Townsend, it’s barely mentioned that Harry is Meghan’s second husband.

Hollywood producer Trevor Engelson married Meghan when she was a wannabe star in 2011. But soon after, things began to unravel once Meghan scored her job as vixen paralegal Rachel Zane on Suits. The hit TV show filmed in Toronto, Canada, leaving Trevor to commute from his LA home if he wanted to see his wife.

What really happened in their marriage – which ended after just two years when she reportedly mailed her rings back via registered post – has remained largely a mystery as Trevor, 44, has never spoken in detail about his now-royal ex.
