They’re two of Australia’s biggest names in music, but now it seems Delta Goodrem and Guy Sebastian are about to become a certified TV power couple!

Speaking exclusively to Woman’s Day, a Seven insider reveals both Guy, 39, and Delta, 36, are being eyed off for a spot on the network’s most exciting new production – the relaunch of Australian Idol!

While fans may assume the pair would return to The Voice, which will be rehomed on the network next year, the insider insists they are to be rested from the show and will come back with a bang as judges on the beloved singing competition Australian Idol, which first hit our screens in 2003.

“Guy and Delta are something of two-for-one package,” laughs the insider. “Wherever Delta lands, Guy seems to follow. They look out for each other and they’re both positioned to be taking over on the revamped Idol in 2022.
