Here’s how to make sure your kids have a fun celebration no matter what you do

Whatever the reason may be, it’s undoubtedly tricky to try to explain to your child why they might not be able to have a birthday party this year – perhaps it’s that their friends and family aren’t able to attend or they’ve not been well.

So while they may not be able to have a traditional style of birthday party it doesn’t mean you can’t still make it a fun, memorable celebration for them.

GET DECORATING

Even though you might not be having guests at your home, you can still shower it in decorations!

Order things like balloons, streamers, fun hats or even costumes online and get the whole family involved with putting them up or on. If you’re feeling extra crafty you could even make your own decorations – think bunting with some cardboard and string, or even a balloon garland. Simply search for any step-by-steps online and you’re off!
