Top tips for staying SAFE ONLINE

Whether working from home, connecting with friends or searching for a viral banana bread recipe, the internet is an everyday part of most of our lives.

However, despite our daily interaction with our smartphones, tablets and laptops, some of us are not as good as we think we are at taking the necessary steps to protect ourselves online.

Contrary to the idea that "oldies" are no good with technology, it is in fact New Zealand's over-55s who appear to be the most proactive about online safety.
